Hi, I'm Emma, and musical theatre is one of my most favourite things in all the world! Big fan of a double show day, and aiming for a triple in the not so distant future. Now mumma to Stagey Baby, an 8 year old theatre fanatic who fell in love with the West End age 3 (The Lion King if it's of any interest) - love our trips together but also enjoy going with the bestie and/or other stagey friends. I'll be listing just the shows I've seen live here as I've seen too many proshots and bootlegs to recall them all lol. (Nothing like being in the room where it happens though ;) )

Les MisΓ©rables
Now PlayingPerfection on stage - the story, the drama, the tragedy, the comedy, the romance, the passion. One that we watch over and over and never get tired of.
They took the revolve away :o

OH MY HEART! I have fallen in love with this incredible show!! The whole company, and the whole show, are just wonderful! So much energy on stage, its tangible. Well paced, nostalgic, relevant, poignant, funny, magical!! Dianne Pilkington was born t play Eglantine; she is sensational! Rob Madge is a joy and triumph and seeing them shine made the show even more special.
Can't think of one thing I did not like!
5

Incredible dancing, gorgeous vocals , so cleverly done, immersive but without losing any of the brilliance. Had an absolute ball and couldnβt wait to return with my daughter - an equally awesome experience second time round.
6

Funny, sassy, clever, inspiring, all the bops. Melissa Jacques is incredible (not that its about the cast butttttt!)
Whats not to like?!

What's not to like about everyone's favourite nanny?!
10

This blew me away, so simple, so beautiful, so incredible. What an amazing return to the west end. Rachel Tucker, as I already knew, its just insane!
Didnt get its longer run :(
11

IT WAS INSANE! I have still not yet recovered and forever will have a moment of excitement when I remember them flying. ABSOLUTE SESNSATIONS the whole darn cast! I knew I would love this but WOW (And when OG Sukie and Carrie as Sukie get together with the composer and sing at the end....allllll the tears!) What. A. Night!
That it had to end. One of the best nights ever.

A truly beautiful retelling of a classic story. Gorgeous new songs performed alongside the glorious originals, by an incredible cast with brilliant staging and the use of effects to complement the stellar acting on stage. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Maybe a little too much digital? But thats pushing to find a negative!

The long wait for tickets (was worth it though!) Two part format also makes it pricey for families (hence why my kids have not yet seen it)
