A stunning and intimate depiction of a woman’s narrative picks up from its interrupted success at VAULT Festival 2020 and heads on tour this Spring - including a stop at Greenwich Theatre, 1st April! Written and performed by award-winning actress and award-nominated writer Alexandra Donnachie (Twenty-eight, Theatre 503; 2019 BAFTA Winner Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley, BBC One), When We Died tells the tale of an embalmer unexpectedly faced with the face of the man who raped her. Confronted by the choice to take control of her narrative and trauma, Donnachie presents an exposed vulnerability and determination to share the story with the audience and the dead.
