The Bench tells the tale of an epic conflict over a public bench! Sandy (a pompous, posh and cantankerous man in his post-prime years) is furious to discover someone has scattered his flower arrangement over his “memorial bench”. Instantly Sandy blames Joe (a young office worker on his break relaxing on the said bench) so beginning the tirade of well-observed rants, uncompromising solutions, unreasonable demands that makes this shared journey of self-discovery an amusing ride. See how the two generations fight it out in a battle that will change the two of them forever, and where they may finally answer the eternal question of - when is a bench not a bench?
