What they loved
- A good show for the most part, with more upbeat songs like Time Is and Standing At The Sky's Edge being the highlights. The set and lighting designs were brilliant. There is some good character development, and an interesting mix of characters.
- There was a funny joke about Henderson’s Relish, and Joy was a lovely character. Would have preferred the story to centre around her.

What they didn't enjoy
- It felt very repetitive - the structure for the entire show was pretty much dialogue, one character starts singing a song, other characters join in to finish singing that song, then back to dialogue over and over again. Act 2 was incredibly slow, and most of the plot points were predictable. This, combined with a lot of slow songs, meant I found most of the show boring. Act 1 was definitely much better and faster-paced.
- Ambitious concept that didn’t work for me. Like it was written by someone who hates musicals and doesn’t understand the genre. No song contributed positively towards the story or characters. Sound was off being either too quiet or too loud. It’s rare that I criticise performers in a poor show as usually they are the shining light doing the best they can, but the majority of the cast actually sounded pitchy in their delivery. Quite shocked at how little I enjoyed this as I was really looking forward to it.
