Guilty With Explanation

When 65-year-old Papa imagines that his wife of 40 years is being unfaithful, he moves out of his matrimonial home and seeks refuge in the tenth floor apartment that his only daughter, Sophie, shares with her husband, Sean. Papa has never ever approved of any man Sophie dates, and Sean is no different. So despite the fact that Sean seems to always have a reasonable explanation for his questionable behaviour, Papa soon convinces himself that his son-in-law has a trailer-load of outside women, including Sophie’s BFF. Sophie knows that her daddy’s head ‘nuh good’ so she initially ignores his accusations against Sean. Nevertheless, Papa embarks on a one-man mission to ‘mash up’ his daughter’s marriage. A series of suspicious phone calls and strange coincidences eventually convince Sophie that Papa is right, and that she is being played by Sean. Sophie’s thirst for revenge leads her to concoct an elaborate and potentially deadly plot to get even with Sean. But... Are Papa’s suspicions justified? Is Sean really guilty or are his explanations true? Does Sophie’s revenge end in murder?
