The season continues with the European premiere of Banging Denmark by Van Badham, one of Australia’s leading social commentators and a former Literary Manager of the Finborough Theatre. It plays 16 April–11 May 2024. A biting and badly behaved satire of modern manners as feisty feminist academic Ishtar battles “pick up artist” and misogynist podcaster Jake. Its premiere by the Sydney Theatre Company in 2019 was shortlisted for the 2020 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards.
