This stunner of a show examines one day in the lives of a group of dancers, all vying for a spot in the “chorus line” of a Broadway musical – 17 performers will be put through their paces and only eight will make the cut. But the audition takes an unexpected turn as the director invites the auditionees to open up about their lives and what brought them into theatre.

What they loved
- a classic. from choreo to songs, it's a must-see
- The recent Leicester Curve production is brilliantly designed, and the cast were very talented.
- First time seeing this on stage. Great production, beautifully cast and generally better than the film version.

What they didn't enjoy
- I really didn't like this show. There isn't much of a plot, it's just different actors singing about their lives so it feels like hardly anything happened in almost two hours. A few of the songs are more upbeat, but in general they're boring, generic, and outdated. Pretty much none of the jokes landed for me.
- The show itself has dated quite a bit. Its “very American”
