Alexander Hogg is an English actor, writer and composer from the West Midlands. Alex made his professional debut in 2017 in Brassed Off at The Wolverhampton Grand. Since then, Alex has appeared in Joseph and the Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat twice (once at Kilworth House Theatre and once at The Birmingham Hippodrome), Amanda Whittington's Ladies' Day (once again at The Grand) and perhaps most notably three UK tours and London residencies of Nativity! The Musical playing the principal role of Ollie. He also appeared in the 2018 feature film Nativity ROCKS! This Ain't No Silent Night as a featured member of the St Bernadette's school class. Since then, he has appeared in commercials such as AXA Insurance #KnowYouCan (Iconoclast, Paris / Cartel); Lidl GB Big On British & Big On A British Summer (Outsider TV) as well as a short film called Kit for Academy Award-Winning Slick Films. Alex also had a leading role in the viral and award-winning music video STORM I & II by GENER8ION featuring Yung Lean, playing a bully. The video later featured in the hugely popular immersive exhibition, GENER8ION: VISIONS OF 2034 at London's 180 Studios. Prior to this, Alex made his debut as a writer, composer and producer with his original four-part scripted comedy-drama podcast series, For King and Country. Soon after it's released onto streaming platforms, the series enjoyed a full radio broadcast over the summer of 2026.
