Synopsis: Olivier and Tony Award winner Alan Cumming releases his debut album I Bought a Blue Car Today, the title of which is taken from his solo musical show of the same name. Cumming belts out celebrated hits alongside little-known gems accompanied by his musical director, Lance Horne. It’s a musical journey peppered with material by Frank Sinatra, Dory Previn, Kander & Ebb and Cyndi Lauper, to name only a few.

Alan Cumming: I Bought A Blue Car Today premièred at Lincoln Center in New York City in February followed by a March run at the Sydney Opera House. Then followed a limited season at the Vaudeville Theatre in the West End from Tuesday 1 to Sunday 6 September 2009, followed by more NY dates and a US West Coast tour.
