Mmm Mmm’ the musical - Somewhere in England (present day) it is early evening.  ‘Mmm Mmm’ – the best French restaurant this side of gay Paris – is open for business as usual.  Jacques, the gorgeous Maitre d’ welcomes the evening’s diners with his usual effeminate French flourish.  With a clap of his hands the elegant waiters and waitresses seat six particularly interesting diners -  Catherine and James Patterson who are frequent diners at ‘Mmm Mmm’ -  Billy and Helen Manning who are celebrating their wedding anniversary – and best friends Charlotte Adams and Vicky Russell who are brimming over with exciting news to tell each other.Jacques is on top mincing form as he flirts outrageously with everyone, except his three alcoholic chefs.
