I could listen to her forever and have had the CD on play ever since I got home and first thing this morning. Def money well spent. This is the first time I have spent 9 on what is essentially a DC single, and I will never do it again. I thought, hey, it`s Kerry Ellis... it`s sure to be worth it. It isn`t. Kerry, as always, is unbelievable in her power and form but if you think that putting these songs to the View More This is the first time I have spent 9 on what is essentially a DC single, and I will never do it again. I thought, hey, it`s Kerry Ellis... it`s sure to be worth it. It isn`t. Kerry, as always, is unbelievable in her power and form but if you think that putting these songs to the overblown glory-rock of Brian May will put a new twist on it, it doesn`t. Both tracks, the vocal and the backing, work fine on their own but together, it`s a mess. The production value here is piss-poor and actually sounds a bit like karaoke. There is no compromise from Kerry (and why should there be?), but there is also none from the music and in the competition between the two, both are losers. It`s sad that such a great singer (and essentially, a great vocal recording) are wasted on this heap of rubbish. My 9 has clearly gone towards stroking May`s ego, but then again, he hasn`t worn his clogs for a while. I like to think he used my money to buy some new ones. View Less
