In 1952 he recorded his first album for RCA, Harp By Harpo, and five years later signed with Mercury Records, a deal that would result in two albums.
This particular album, Harpo At Work is the second of those Mercury albums, originally released in 1958 and featuring a great collection of songs written by some of the greatest composers of the time.
