Chris has a natural love for Musical Theatre and having trained with the National Youth Theatre, pursued this passion straight from Sixth Form College. In late 2006, Chris entered Chicago Rock Cafe`s `Rock Idol` contest, judged by Carrie and David Grant. Out of six thousand contestants and several National heats, Chris came second to Keith Jack, who went on to appear in BBC1`s Any Dream Will Do.
After `Rock Idol`, Chris was cast in Bill Kenwright`s UK No.1 touring company of `Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat` as Joseph`s youngest brother, Benjamin. Chris can be seen performing regularly around the West Midlands in venues such as NIA and Pershore Cathedral.
