This double DVD contains the seven BBC concerts by Dr. Evadne Hinge and Dame Hilda Bracket. Starring George Logan and Patrick Fyffe, these cross-dressing performers enchanted audiences throughout the 1970s and early 1980s with their slightly catty dialogues and renditions of the works by such luminaries as Noel Coward, Ivor Novello and Gilbert & Sullivan. Hinge and Bracket’s first appearance was in 1974 at the Edinburgh Festival and proving to be hugely popular they went on to appear on both BBC Radio Four and Radio Two with many shows.
